Tonight Lily P., Preschool Backseat Driver, gave me several pointers.
After getting on the Interstate one on-ramp early, to save time on our commute:
"NOOOOOOOO! That's the grown-up way! Go back! GOOOOO BAAAAAACK!"
After turning right on red:
"NOOOOOOOO! It's not green! YOU CAN'T GO YET!"
While driving through intersection:
"It's green, Mom...go! Uh-oh, it's yellow...slow down a little! That's bettah."
30 seconds later:
"I told you to SLOW DOWN! You see how that car slowed down?"
Hehehe. This one's a cute story. My pre-school driver often tells (more like dictates, actually) me what to do while driving. I find it amusing that he's actually learning to be vigilant and careful by just riding along with me in his car seat. He's my road rage watchdog! =)
